Nomination of officers: 
Reminder that we nominate officers for 2023 at our September meeting and we vote in October. New nominations can also take place at our October meeting. New officers take over after the Old Business portion of our January meeting.

Fall Bocce:
If you are interested in playing in the fall bocce league please contact  Mark Ciminello at mciminello@ciminellos.com. We will be starting in mid-September.

We have a couple of stars in the Abruzzi Club:

Italian Festival: 
As I mentioned at the meeting we will having a tent at the festival to promote the club and I will be looking for volunteers to work a few 4 hours shifts to man the table. I am looking for suggestions of what type of things we will have at the table.  For this years parade I am looking for a classic car to carry the Abruzzi Banner and another for the St Clair Athletic Club of which I am also a member.  I believe the Parade will allow any classic or special car. Please let me konw if you are interested in carrying a St Clair Banner here

Speaking of the Italian Festival:
Our friend Carol Ristucci is selling tickets for UNA BELLA SERATA (A BEAUTIFUL EVENING) featuring the music of our own Ray Massa. The 2022 Columbus Italian Festival kicks off with a delicious Italian dinner and dance and marks the opening of our Festival week. Reminder of member and guest nights:
Reminder that we have member and guest nights on the second and fourth fridays of each month. We eat dinner at 6 and play games at 7. The second friday we have a Euchre tournament as well as a Texas Hold’em game and on the fourth Friday we play Bingo and have a Texas Hold’em game. Dinner is $10.00 per perrson and is all you care to eat. Please always feel free to bring other games or play bocce on our outdoor courts.Please RSVP Here
